"History in Pictures" These albums are two heirlooms of the Miller (Muller) family. They were originally assembled by Anna Goeres (Miller), the wife of John Peter Miller, also known as Pete Miller. Anna died tragically in 1915 at the age of 36, leaving behind a husband and 7 children, ranging in age from 4 to 18 years.. The family is very fortunate that she created these albums, as they hold the only known pictures assembled of the distant ancestors. The column below entitled "Written Caption" is the text that was actually written by either Anna Goeres or a close relative to describe each picture. I present to you the pictures in the albums: |
