The original of the 1863 Port of New York immigration record
detailing the arrival of Jean Pierre Muller (age 53), Michel (age 19), and
Josephine (age 21). They arrived on August 8th, 1863, at the Port of
New York, aboard the ship named the Austrian Bargue Neptun, which originated
out of Antwerp, Belgium.
1. Muller, Jean Pierre, age 53, Male, occupation ?,
Luxembourg (first name on entire list!)
2. Muller, Michel, age 19, male
3. Josephine, age 21, female
Also listed right after the Muller family:
4. Thillen, Elisabetha, age 21, female, (there is a Thillen line in this
family - Jean Pierre's mother in-law was a Thillen), so Elisabetha is
probably a cousin to Michel & Josephine, being same age.
5. Lutgen, Jenny (?), age 30, female, (I think I've seen a Lutgen recorded
somewhere in my Muller records, but can't remember exactly, so I believe
they are also relation)
6. Lutgen, Michel, age 25, male
and several more Luxembourg people up to line 23,
and 25 more on the
second page of the document,
with a grand total of 89 passengers. |
